MiCA-regulated CASPs

Your MiCA licence + our EPE licence: the complete crypto↔fiat bridge

PMI Group Europe acts as the fiat payments partner for Crypto-Asset Service Providers authorised under MiCA. You manage the crypto layer under your CASP licence, we manage the fiat layer under our Bank of Spain Payment Institution licence (no. 6924).

Why do CASPs need a regulated fiat partner?

MiCA requires crypto↔fiat flows to be executed through authorised financial infrastructure. PMI Europe provides that regulated layer so the CASP can focus on its crypto product.

What PMI provides
  • Bank of Spain EPE licence (no. 6924)
  • Segregated safeguarding accounts
  • Fiat on-ramp and off-ramp: SEPA, SWIFT, Visa Direct
  • KYC/AML on the fiat layer (Spanish AML Act)
  • Regulatory reporting to Bank of Spain
  • REST API for technical integration
What the CASP manages
  • MiCA licence / CASP authorisation
  • Crypto-asset custody
  • Trading, exchange, staking
  • Crypto user onboarding
  • Crypto compliance (Travel Rule, TFR)
  • End-user product and experience
The result
  • Fully regulated crypto↔fiat flow
  • No dual licensing required
  • Accelerated time-to-market
  • Shared compliance costs
  • Scalable across the EU (PSD2 passporting)
  • Auditable and transparent for supervisors
